Schlitterbahn Water Park
Schlitterbahn Water Park on Galveston Island, TX will be hosting Girl Scout Days at their park this summer. Dates are June 1-29, 2008. (Sundays through Fridays only) August 11-22, 2008 (Monday through Friday only) and Sunday, September 7, 14, and 21. Tickets are $23.99 during this time. There are also meal bands available. Troops will need to complete the Summer Season Order Form on the park's website, www.schlitterbahn.com.
Special Performance of A Dragon in the Mix at Cite des Arts in Lafayette
Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are invited to attend a special scouting performance of A Dragon in the Mix, a witty fairy tale spoof that is good family fun. There is a theatre workshop for scouts that can help you earn a badge on Saturday, May 17, at 12:30 p.m and the show begins at 1:00 p.m. Discount admission is $5.00.
